PM Shore graduated from Art School in Portland, Oregon in the 1960's, attended Portland State and later the Pacific Northwest College of Art.

She has worked in Applied Arts and as a Graphic Designer, Art Director and Creative Director for ad agencies and design firms throughout the area. She also was co-owner of a full-color printing firm for 15 years and ran her own design firm.

She began painting as a child growing up in the Columbia River Gorge and this has always been her artistic preference.

Recently she lost her eye sight for a period of time which inspired her to retire from design and paint full-time. She exhibits with several area galleries and has a busy work schedule.

Her work in graphics and print is demonstrated in her wide use of color, perspective and strong composition. She is known for her iconic images of the Portland urban landscapes.
